Loyalty does exist

A Panel beating and a spray-painting apprenticeship was not on Kieren's to do list on a Friday afternoon. Having such an opportunity does not happen to just anyone. You have to show loyalty and commitment to the job. That is what happened to this young man.

It was Friday afternoon and me being me I asked a group of young teenagers that were hanging around the local supermarket if anyone would be interested in an apprenticeship. Without hesitation, Kieren jumped off the car he was sitting on and said, “I will.”

Fast forward 16 years, two completed apprenticeships — one in spray painting and the other in panel beating — and Kieren has become a highly skilled tradesman. He started at PJ’s Panels as a troubled teenager, and through guidance, hard work, and dedication, we helped give him his confidence he deserves. He has at times been asked if Kieren and Paul the owner are father and son?
